How to Bend Text in Canva

Photoshop lets you bend text to any shape. In Canva you cannot bend text to whatever shape you want.

Canva text is a bit more rigid, and you only get the style or shape based on the font type you use. To get text that is not straight at all, you need a third party app inside Canva.

Go to Apps in Canva.

Search for Typecraft and open it.

Type the content you want to bend, for example subscribe.

Select the font type. The options here are very limited, so you will not find many choices.

Select the style and the colors. Red is an appropriate color for this example.

Mirror the text if you want to.

Use the control points to adjust the shape. Click any point and drag it in the direction you want, and the text will change its shape.

This is similar to Photoshop, but it is not very advanced. It is still very useful.

When you are done, click Add element to design. The text will be inserted into your design.
